COMMIT Ministries has lots of projects that you can use as a group activity for Youth, Bible study, Mission Committee, or Sunday School crafts. These projects are truly menaingful and effective ways of both reaching others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and providing for the desperate needs of people groups that we are serving.
Powerbands
These witnessing tools are one of the most effective cross-cultural tools we use in our ministries to people in all cultures. The gospel is a simple message - the most sharable message that there is. These bracelets help both seasoned verterans of cross cultural evangelism and the newest and youngest mission worker to use a tangible gift to share the message of the gospel in a way that will be understood and remembered by hearts hungry to know Jesus.
Use the template here and make as many as you like! We use THOUSANDS of these every year in ministry. But, it's a tool that can be used in your own church and next door too. Keep one, and pass the message along!
Medical Projects
We have numerous and growing opportunities to serve communities we serve through medical care and medicines. If you can help provide equipment, medicines, or medical supplies, please contact our office at 808-668-8481 or contact us by e-mail at commit@pixi.com
Baojing Greeting Cards
COMMIT Ministries has started a program to help school children pay for school by producing and marketing hand-made pressed flower cards using local flowers. Since most families survive on less that $125 per year, most of these children have very little hope of being able to continue their beyond a state sponsored 6th grade education.
Your help can make a BIG difference in the lives of these children and will help the community of Baojing, Hunan Province to develop over the long term economically - helping them to be a self-sustaining community.
Cards can be ordered in quantities of 10 for $12.50 by sending us an e-mail, or download and print the Card Order Form from this site.
You can read more about our work in this community on our site at Baojing Cards and International Children's Village pages!
