ECOLOGY FIELD DAY

    		• Field surveys included three study topics at each survey location:
    Water quality table setup on the levee at Oneawa Canal
    WATER QUALITY -- Water quality measurements were made with LaMotte kits and various instruments.
    Instructor Nate in the riparian vegetation along the Oneawa Canal
    PLANTS -- Students estimated abundances of plant species in pre-established quadrats.
    Instructor England directs stream sampling
    ANIMALS -- Various sampling methods were employed to develop lists of species in each of the study locations.
