We chose topic 5 "Jusen". It is noe a hot problem in Japan because tax from the nation might be appropriated for this Jusen mess.
"Jusen" is a housing loan company in Japan . This time the problem is they have used "borrowed money" and now they are not able to pay back the money.
Japan invested so quickly and so much in international real estate during the "Bubble economy" because we had a lot of extra cash and thought the rate would rise forever. The famous American golf course "Peble Beach" in California is a good example. They finally sold it back to the original owner for nearly 70% loss.
Who is the responsible for this "Jusen" problem? Can we specify it? Human beings like to put their response to somebody or something. Well, this is the hard point to discuss but we think it was borrowed money, and nobody did not wanted them or anything. They could have done whatever they wanted to. We can not particulary say who or what is responsible but there are all some points you can point out.
Since "Jusen" problem is revealed, Japanese people's recognition towards the society will change and this "bureaucratic" society will colapps.

| We chose topic 5 "Jusen". It is now a hot problem in Japan because tax from the nation might be appropriated for this Jusen mess.
"Jusen" are housing loan companies in Japan . This time the problem is they have used "borrowed money" and now they are not able to pay back the money. | **Use MS-WORD spellcheck "now" and not "noe" ** Is "Jusen" a single company or the definition for groups of housing loan companies? If plural then you must use "are". ** |
| Japan invested so quickly and so much in international real estate during the "Bubble economy" because they had a lot of extra cash and thought the rate would rise forever. The famous American golf course "Pebble Beach" in California is a good example. They finally sold it back to the original owner for a nearly 70% loss. | ** Use MS-WORD spellcheck "Pebble Beach" and not "Peble Beach" ** The subject of your original sentence is "Japan" which is in the third (3rd) person...therefore, you need to use "they" and not "we"... ** "nearly 70% loss" is an indefinite amount, so you need the indefinite article "a" |
| Who is responsible for this "Jusen" problem? Can we specify it? Human beings like to blame someone or something. Well, this is a difficult point to discuss but we think it was because of borrowed money. They could have done whatever they wanted to. We cannot particularly say who or what is responsible but there are some areas we can point out. | ** "Who is responsible" does not need "the responsible" **I am not sure what you mean by "Human beings like to put their response to somebody or something" although I think I do understand you. This sentence has been changed because your original sentence was not clear. ** Simplified your sentence ending "borrowed money". **MS-WORD spellcheck "particularly" **"we" and not "you". |
| **"you could say" is never used in business writing. **MS-WORD spellcheck "agricultural" **Use "We" and not "You"..If you want to put this sentence in a very businesslike manner, you could say "Japanese Society is also to blame". I didn't change your original sentence except for "We" but the previous sentence would be preferred. Try and keep "We" "I" "You" , in other words, personal pronouns out of business statements. Let the sentence express your thought. **You are speaking about people, so use "politicians, bureaucrats...(politic and bureaucrat) define style but not people, themselves **use simple "is" in last sentence. |
Since the "Jusen" problem was revealed, the Japanese peoples understanding towards society may change and this "bureaucratic" society may collapse. | ** "Jusen" was revealed..past tense **you need "the" "Japanese peoples understanding" which is a definite thing. **"society" does not need "the"..You cannot say that Japanese society and government "will" change because nobody knows for sure. You can say it "may" change or you can say "it should change' or "it ought to change". Making strong statements using "will" or "has to " is dangerous ... because nobody knows for sure what will happen. There have been financial disasters in previous Japanese governments (e.g. Lockheed scandal etc.) but the system didn't "collapse". **Again, use MS-WORD spellcheck "colapps" is wrong.."collapse". |

What is "Heisei Hukyou". You need to explain, in English, what this term means. Don't forget, this is an international document. You cannot assume that the reader of this report will understand what a Japanese term means.

Is the Japanese government making any rules so that a situation like Jusen will not happen again in the future? Do you think that a Jusen problem will happen again in Japan?

The Japanese invested quite wildly in Hawaii. Can you find "concrete examples" (real examples) of situations where Japanese investors "lost their shirts" (losts their shirts means lost all of their money). Try and find out how the original investors in an Hawaiian property were able to get many simple Japanese citizens to invest their money in this property....because, in many cases, it was small people who invested a lot of money in bad property who lost their money.

What punishment, if any, should be given to the wild speculators in property in Japan and overseas? Is "wild speculation" a crime? If it isn't a crime, should it be a crime? Or, should individuals have the right to "lose their shirts"?
