- Each evaluation includes the following:
- A copy of your original Executive Report
- This is an exact copy of the Executive Report you wrote before the summer vacation. No corrections or comments are included.
- Instructors suggested Grammatical and logical corrections
- Your original Executive Report has been corrected. These corrections include grammatical corrections, where required.
- Where necessary, sentences have been changed to more idiomatic English expressions.
- Whenever a correction or change has been made, an explanation of why the change was made has been included.
- You should print off your reports and compare your original English "Executive Report" with the corrected version. This is a learning experience.
- Almost all of your "original" uncorrected "Executive Reports" were understandable. That is very important! Most of you did a very good job at explaining your ideas in English. However, if you seriously study the corrections, you will discover that you can even do a Better Job by improving your use of English grammar and English sentence structure.
- Questions for further research to be included in the "Body" of the Report
- This section identifies some additional questions or requirements for the rest of your report".
- You should work together with your "team" to develop the "Body" of the Report...another 3- 5 pages. These questions should help you in your research and thinking about the rest of the report.
- If you have questions or comments, please send me an e-mail.

May 31: Please send me e-mail about your topics and partners- May 31, 1996
- Subject: Need electronic mail from you about your topics and partners
- Detail Information
- Because there were some technical problems setting up the remote system in the United States, I am a little bit late sending you information. However, everything is ok now. I would like all of you to send me an e-mail on your current status with the research topic. I have sent all of you e-mail, in addition to this comment in the Update Page.
- You should try and work together with your topic partners.
- There is a lot of information in the Internet about your topics. Because there is so much information, you need to "focus" your search on specific questions. In each class I have briefly discussed your topic; presented a problem for you to solve and given you some sample questions to help with your research. You should try and use these sample questions to help "focus" your searching.
- Any time you have a problem or concern, you should send me an e-mail and I will try and help you.
- As I stated in the e-mail to all students, this class is different from others you have taken. You will know more about the topics you research than I will. However, I will be able to help you in creating your reports.
- Stay in touch with me!!!
