About Ko'olaupoko

The total population of Ko'olaupoko consists of approximately 118,000 people, which is about 12% of the 1.5 million people in all of the Hawaiian Islands. The Ko'olaupoko district is the south-eastern portion of the windward side of O'ahu (the main island). The Ko'olau mountain range separates the Windward side of the island from Honolulu, the state capital, where the tourist flock to lie on the famous Waikiki beach. O'ahu is 40 miles long, 26 miles wide, with an area of 608 square miles. The spectacular and striking natural beauty from mountain to sea of Ko'olaupoko can be viewed from the Pali lookout point. Ko'olaupoko like all of Hawaii is known for its aloha, love, and friendliness to visitors and residents alike.
