JESUS: THE LIFE
DECEMBER 19, 1999
JOHN 14:1-7

      What is life? All of us have heard and maybe some of us have even used the phrase, "that’s the life." What are people trying to say when they use this phrase? Are they referring to something that is beyond their reach? ….beyond their wildest dreams? Are they saying that if I could only have that or live like that , I would have it made?

      What did Jesus mean when he said, "I am the life?" Earlier in the book of John, Jesus said that He came not only so people might have life but that they might have abundant life. This abundant life can only be found in Christ.

      Millions of Christians have discovered that with that life comes:

Love

Insight

Forgiveness

Excitement

John 14:1-4 “1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
