SAME SEX MARRIAGE
The following is a term paper by one of the teenagers at Mililani Baptist Church on the topic of same sex marriages.

SAME SEX MARRIAGES The Bible says, ''Let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.'' (1 Corinthians 7:2) I live my life by the Bible and believe everything it says. It is very specific that a homosexual lifestyle is sinful. In 1 Corinthians 6:9 it is said that ''homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God.'' This is saying that all sinners who are not forgiven, will not go to Heaven. It is clearly stated her that homosexuals are sinning if they lead this lifestyle and will not go to Heaven. I think if the government allows homosexuals to get married, we are telling society it is okay to be homosexual. By changing society in this way we will be open to more change. Which may be saying that rape and murder is okay. The children of this world should not be harassed for the way their 'parents' live. Children have a right to live a 'traditional' life, which consists of one mother and one father. Some people might say, ''why do I have the right to say what is traditional and what is not.'' But, if you ask America what a traditional family is they would tell you it was one mother, one father, two children and a dog. That is the family life people see America as. If homosexuals are allowed to get married society will change the traditional lifestyle. Which may cause problems in the future. If the Hawaii politicians pass the same sex marriage law, Hawaii will change forever. We will have many homosexuals thinking their life style is okay and we as people have accepted it. Which many have not. We as a state must not allow the politicians to pass this law. Kristy is a Senior at Mililani High School in Mililani, Hawaii.
