What is YouthLink 2000?
Hundreds of thousands of Southern Baptist young people will gather in domed
stadiums and convention centers in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa, St. Louis,
Houston, Denver, & Anaheim for three nights and two days to
celebrate the turn of the century and the new millennium.

The Hawaii team has selected
Houston, TX.
What will we do at YouthLink 2000?
Celebrate -- with dramatic worship experiences; participate in small group
Bible study, evangelism and discipleship training; browse interactive exhibits
and join in the hands-on missions and ministry involvement in each city.
How much will it cost?
A $60 per person for the registration fee is guaranteed for all who
send it before January 31, 1999. The YouthLink 2000 Hawaii team is
working on keeping the total cost per person to $600.
This would include airfare, housing, ground transportation, food &
a mission opportunity.
Who are the sponsors of YouthLink 2000?
Four agencies and boards of the Southern Baptist Convention (the Sunday
School Board, the International Mission Board, the North American Mission
Board and the Women's Missionary Union).
Who will be on the program?
Top Christian speakers and artists, missionaries and young people from
all over the country.
Will any Hawaiian groups be on the program?
Yes, we will be doing the Hula with a group
of about 50 dancers at the Houston YouthLink. Should you wish to
be a part of the Hula team, please email Andrew
at mysc@pixi.com.
Where will the Hawaii group be staying?
Houston Baptist University has be gracious enough to alow us to stay in
their Student Center (Gym) for a small fee per person. Thus, we are
able to keep the total cost down. Mahalo, HBU!
What is the purpose of this event?
YouthLink 2000 is designed to prepare Southern Baptist teenagers and college
students for life and ministry in the new millennium. It will introduce
young people to Jesus Christ and inspire and motivate them to win their
generation to Christ.
