Steps
When the topic is announced ahead of time, students should be prepared with a summary of their thoughts. Students are expected to attend and participate in each weekly chat. Submit a paragraph in the portfolio in which you indicate the following:
The dates you attended. Explain any absences.
A short reflection about what you learned and your impressions of the experience. Consider different perspectives such as academic material, technology skills, social impact etc.
Key Pals: Students are expected to correspond via email with a native speaker at least once a month. The letter you send should be at least 100 words in length. Please notify your key pal that you will be submitting copies of correspondence to me. Forward copies of all correspondence to me. Write a reflection for the portfolio as explained in the chat assignment
Practice assignments. Include a log of practice activities that you do in the portfolio. Explain what articles you chose to do, why you chose them and how the practice benefited you.
