  1. Be in assigned seat with supplies ready to work when bell rings.
  2. Do all assignments. Start focus as soon as you enter the room.
  3. Stay in seat unless told by teacher to move.
  4. Use 12 in. voice when working in groups.
  5. Wait to be recognized before speaking during class discussions.
  6. Do not interrupt the lesson or class with inappropriate actions or remarks.
  7. Refrain from making remarks that do not pertain to class discussion.
  8. Do your share in group work.
  9. Respect people and property.
  10. Do not eat or drink beverages in class.
  11. Stay focused on assigned task.
  12. Make up work for excused absences and tardies within 3 days.
  13. There are no bathroom passes. Use facilities during the break.
  14. Teacher- not the bell- dismisses class. Do not leave until dismissed by the teacher.
  15. Follow all school rules.
  16. Follow teacher's instructions.
  17. Note: If you are having difficulty with a procedure or with class work, please see me. I am anxious to help you succeed!


Consequences for not following rules:

  1. Warning by teacher.
  2. Conference and Detention.
  3. Referral to counselor and / or parent contact

NOTE: If behavior is so disruptive that the class is disrupted, student will be asked to sit outside.
