Join us for Food, Family, Prizes and Fun! Every Fourth Friday 7pm

• Join us every fourth Friday of the month for fun, socializing, and food at the Waikiki Community Center Auditorium, 310 Paoakalani Ave. Honolulu, Hawaii
• Every month we have a different activity. We've had yoga, meditation, dancing, magic shows and talks by psychologists, consumers, and advisers in our Mental Health system.
• And you can come too - Ask anything: What's happening with Maui, will I be able to get help easier? Have you found a cure yet? Is treatment better this year? Don't be shy!
• Enjoy food, fun, door prizes, and a chance to meet new people -- the fourth Friday of every month, compliments of United Self help, with assistance from the Weinberg Foundation.

• Need someone to talk to? Talk to a fellow consumer on the warm line. The warm line is for mental health consumers who would like someone to talk with. If you get a recording, leave a message. Our lines fill up fast, we'll call you back. Hours will be from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM seven days a week.

Computers and Computer Classes

• Need a computer? We will loan you one if you are a regular member of a support group. We have some used Pentium II or III machines with Linux and office software, courtesy of Hawaii Open Source Educational Foundation. Some computers also have graphics, Internet, and multimedia applications. We also have some Apple Macintoshes. Me may have printers and other equipment. We can help you set them up for Internet service, although you will have to pay for the service yourself. The only requirement is that you must attend one of our support groups. You may use the computer for as long as you continue to attend support group meetings. Call David at 947-5558 if interested.
• Computer classes for beginners are held at the McKinley Community School for Adults, 634 Pensacola St. Room 218 on Saturdays. Seating is limited, so please call our office at (808) 947-5558

Sports and Fitness

• Softball

  Every month on the Saturday after the fourth Friday of the month at 2:00 PM. at Kamamalu Park next to Nuuanu YMCA.

• Golf

  Thursdays at 9 AM. Just $9 plus clubs, pull cart rental, or free if you are a regular member of a support group and a BRIDGES graduate. Call 947-5558.

• Karate Lessons

  Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 PM at the Honolulu Clubhouse. Free for all regular members of a support group, or Clubhouse members. Call 947-5558.
